  1. The Basilica of Bom Jesus or Borea Jezuchi Bajilika  is located in Goa. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The basilica holds the mortal remains of St. Francis Xavier. The church is located in Old Goa, which was the capital of Goa in the early days of Portuguese rule.
  2. Vivekananda Rock Memorial is a sacred monument and popular tourist attraction in Vavathurai, Kanniyakumari. The memorial stands on one of two rocks located about 500 meters off mainland of Vavathurai, India's southernmost tip.
  3. The Vidhana Soudha is located in Bengaluru. It is the seat of the state legislature of Karnataka.
  4. The Gateway of India is a monument built during the British Raj in Mumbai (formerly Bombay), India. The structure is 26 metres (85 feet) high. It lies at the end of Chhatrapati Shivaji Marg at the water's edge in the harbour of Bombay.
  5. Meenakshi Amman Temple is a historic Hindu temple located in the southern bank of river Vaigai in the temple city of Madurai, Tamil Nadu. The Meenakshi temple is believed to be founded by Indra (king of Devas), while he was on a pilgrimage to cure his misdeeds.
  6. Qutub Minar is also known as Qutb Minar and Qutab Minar. It is the tallest minaret in India.
