  1. Charminar was built in 1591 AD. It is a landmark monument located in Hyderabad. It was built by Sultan Muhammad Quli Qutb Shah. He built this famous structure to commemorate the elimination of a plague epidemic from this city.
  2. The Victoria Memorial, officially the Victoria Memorial Hall, is a memorial building dedicated to Victoria, Queen of the United Kingdom. It currently serves as a museum and a tourist attraction. The building was inaugurated in the year 1921.
  3. The Taj Mahal is a white Marble tomb located in Agra. It was built by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his third wife, Mumtaz Mahal. Its construction began around 1632 and was completed around 1653, employing thousands of artisans and craftsmen.
  4. The Harmandir Sahib is also referred to as the Golden Temple. It is a prominent Sikh gurdwara located in the city of Amritsar in Punjab. Its construction started in December 1585 AD and completed in August 1604 AD.
  5. The Gateway of India is a monument in Mumbai (formerly Bombay), India. The Gateway of India is also referred to as the Taj Mahal of Mumbai. Its construction started in 1911 and completed in 1924.
